To Travel and Photograph is to expand one’s horizons, to open the eyes and heart, to discover cultures beyond our own, and to grow as a person.

For this, I am deeply grateful — to life, to chance, to whatever force led me to so many incredible places and people, and to an extraordinary family. 

I very much hope that my son, and all young people, growing up in today’s ever-changing and diverse world can find in travel the same beauty I did — a place of wonder, and at times, a refuge for the soul.

Photography has played a big role in this journey. Reviewing the images collected over the years brings me immense satisfaction. It’s what keeps me going — what fills me with emotion and meaning.

So I encourage you: keep photographing, keep observing. Create memories that last, and share them with those around you. That’s how stories live on.
