Martín García Island, a natural oasis near Buenos Aires

A short time ago we left for a two-day photographic tour on the island of Martín García, in the Rio de la Plata. Famous for having been a place of the forced exile of presidents or important fallen politicians, such as Hipólito Yrigoyen, Arturo Frondizi, and Juan Domingo Perón. Now a nature reserve for the conservation and preservation of native flora and fauna.

After about 3 hours by ferry with the Cacciola company, we arrived at our destination, immersed in nature, walking through green paths and accompanied by butterflies of all colors, including the famous “Bandera Argentina” (Morpho epistrophus argentinus).

An ideal destination for the weekend, not far from the city and full of details and interesting landscapes for photography.
