At the start of my Photographic Journey, portraiture wasn’t a genre I felt deeply connected to. My personal limitations and young age, generated a gap between me and the portrait.

But over time, thanks to encounters on the road and accumulated experience, both cultural and technical, I gradually found my way into the World of Portrait Photography.

Today, it’s become one of the genres I cherish most. Portraiture has brought me closer to different cultures, allowed me to deepen my understanding of others, and opened the door to unforgettable experiences. Each portrait I capture becomes part of a story I carry with me—etched not only in my images but also in my heart.

To everyone I’ve had the honor of photographing: thank you. Thank you for your openness, your trust, and for becoming part of this ever-growing and diverse visual almanac of humanity.

I’m also deeply grateful to those whose work has inspired and guided me along the way—photographers like Eric Lafforgue, Jimmy Nelson, and GMB Akash, as well as the Atlas of Humanity project, which I’ve had the privilege to be part of on several occasions.
